Vanport China

In July 2003 Vanport started our first direct wood products business with China importing and selling high quality hardwood flooring in Canada, the United States and Japan. This expanding into importing many other wood products out of China from plywood to Chinese cedar decking, fencing, playground components and lawn and garden products. We also developed a fairly well established lumber export business to China out of our Vanport Group supplying mills in Europe, Canada and the United States. In 2005, we implemented quality control personnel on the ground at our partner mills in China to ensure that our customers in the United States, Canada and Japan received the highest quality wood products Vanport had consistently provided to them. Over the years we have evolved into a global supplier of lumber to the China and Southeast Asian markets developing a reputation of being one of the most consistent and reliable suppliers to those markets.
